Alexander "My son Alexander, aged 9, completed
the Davis Dyslexia Correction Program® after struggling
through two years of school. He was still unable to spell his
own name and had difficulty remembering letter sounds and most
sight words. His self esteem was low as he saw others
in his class able to grasp reading concepts quickly and accel
at reading. Alexander had no interest in reading and
would avoid any situations where reading was involved.
After completing only one day of the program, Alexander
was able to spell both his first and last name forward and backwards.
By the completion of the class Alexander was able to spell complex
words and his reading really took off. We could see how excited
Alexander was with his improved reading and spelling ablility,
and his self esteem was greatly improved.
Lisa's caring, compassionate spirit and enthusiasm was contagious
and Alexander was excited about spending the day with her learning
new skills to improve his ablility to read and spell. Alexander
was quite disappointed when the week was over.
Our family was shocked to see the incredible improvements in
Alexander's reading and spelling abilities after he completed
the program. It seemed that something had just clicked after
two years of struggling daily in school to learn.
Before completing the program Alexander was reading at
a speed of @13 words per minute and is now reading at @55
words per minute. Alexander is now in a regular class room
and is very proud to say 'I rock at reading' ."

"Since his lessons at the Dyslexia Center, Quintin's grades
have improved, his self esteem has sky rocketed, and he is well
on his way to becoming an independent reader and learner! Quintin
and I learned how Quintin learns and how he processes information.
I also learned how to teach him based on his method of learning.
Quintin learned that he has a special gift; not a learning disability.
Now, he has the tools to reach his potential and there is no
limit!" - Quintin's mom Allegra
"The Davis Dyslexia Correction Program® is the best approach
I have found. Lisa Spratt is friendly, knows her stuff and is
passionate about helping people learn. What a great combination
it has been for us."

"After attending the Northeast Alabama Dyslexia Center, we have
taken great strides with our lessons. As a parent, I have a
better understanding of how to instruct Justin. He now understands
how he learns and has developed the confidence to pursue his
goals." -Vanessa D. Adam
"While Adam was going through the DavisTM program, he was so excited
because for the first time, someone understood him. I have a
better understanding of Dyslexia and how to assist him. He is
able to focus better now and get himself back on track than
before attending the Northeast Alabama Dyslexia Center. When
he gets too excited or hyper, he uses "turning down the dial"
to get himself under control. It has made our household more
pleasant because he is able to calm himself down and is able
to do his school work more efficiently. We enjoy doing the activities
together and it has made us even closer." -Lynn E. Connor
"This program has helped me more than anything and I have been
through three programs. In three days I have improved so much
and I can't wait to come and learn some more. It's fun; you
get to do clay, learn your alphabet backwards, learn to stay
'on point', find things in the dictionary...the program is exciting.
I love it!" -Connor P., age 10
